Being a writer is an evolutionary process comprised of daily learning, failed attempts, small successes, and dreams that never stop disrupting both the waking and the sleeping worlds. This profession, once ensconced within a person’s mind and spirit, either flourishes or famishes according for the person’s adherence to practice and faith in one’s self.
I’m a learner, teacher, writer, explorer, and adventurer who lives for words with the same passion as sports enthusiasts live for the next game. Nothing can take that love of the written word away from me. The writer in me stands between the learner and the adventurer, the teacher and the explorer. The writer is all of these and more, according to the day of the week and hour of the day.
Blue skies or gray mean only a different mood to the piece being written. Happy or sad mean only a new experience for the characters held within the story living under the keyboard. Day or night means little to a Muse that operates her lemonade stand 24 hours a day.
The free samples Muse gives me I share with others, after I remove some of the pith and sweeten the juice a bit for palatability. I can only hope that the reader finds in my words something which entertains. After all, that’s one of the main purposes of writing anything.
